Nick Philips | nwp25@drexel.edu


Nick is a freshman at Drexel University pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. On campus, Nick is an officer for the Theme Park Engineering and Design Group, trombonist in the Drexel Pep Band, and a student ambassador. Ever since he first rode Splash Mountain in the Magic Kingdom when he was four years old, It has been his life goal to work as an engineer for the entertainment industry, primarily designing attractions and guest experiences. When he finishes college it would be his dream job to work for Walt Disney Imagineering, or anywhere in the industry where he could let his imagination run rampant.

Eric is a student in Drexel University pursuing a B. S. in Computer Engineering with a focus in robotics. He was a member of Central High School of Philadelphia’s robotics team, the RoboLancers as Head Programmer and worked on software and hardware aspects of robots for the competitions BEST (Boosting Engineering Science and Technology), FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge) and FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition). He is currently a mentor for the same team and works at the SAS (Scalable Autonomous Systems) Lab.

Judy is a freshman at Drexel University pursuing  B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. At Drexel, she is involved in the Theme Park Engineering and Design club. At Marple Newtown High School, she was a section leader in orchestra and participated in various extracurricular activities, including speech team, musical, science olympiad, marching band and indoor color guard. She aspires to one day work in the theme park industry due to her interest in roller coasters and theme park attractions. There's a fun and creative side to mechanical engineering that she is quite excited to explore.

Harshit is an international freshman computer engineering major at Drexel University. At Drexel, he is part of the theme park engineering and design club. He is interested in computers and how electronics work. A tech aficionado he is a big fan of sci-fi movies and video games. He dreams to start his own technology firm with a concentration on innovation of new ideas.

Andy is a freshman mechanical engineering major at Drexel University. Andy also is a Lindy Scholar Advisor in Drexel Lindy Center. Andy loves science and math. That’s why he chooses to major in mechanical engineering. Andy plans to concentrate in aerospace engineering and work for Boeing.

Dr. Primerano received his Ph.D. from Drexel University in 2010. The focus of his Ph.D. research was the use of ultrasonic signaling for communication through metallic barriers. This remains an active research area of his. Other current research interests include the design and implementation of mobile robotics devices, especially those that draw on biology, and radio frequency scene analysis within highly reverberant environments.
